About Selena Hodgers
Selena Hodgers is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She earned both her Bachelors of Science and Masters of Science degrees in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University, graduating with honors. She is involved in a number of professional organizations: Florida Nurses Association, American Nurses Association, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Selena worked in the areas of orthopedics, rehabilitation, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, clinical trials and drug safety surveillance prior to joining My Ob/ Gyn, LLC. Selena became passionate about health promotion and prevention while pursuing her career as a registered nurse. She decided to focus her energy on becoming a nurse practitioner with a goal to empower patients to take an active role in their personal health.
Selena is happily married and the proud mother of two daughters. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and horseback riding.
